So, I can’t believe I just made an AMV. It took me almost 2 years to figure this stuff out. And it was so simple I didn’t even realize it. Stupid me. 😳😳

please take a look and let me know what you think.

Thank you Β πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

  1. I used to make AMV’s all the time when I was a teenager, so this is really cool.

I haven’t made one in about 2-3 years now, but I’d love to do it again sometime. The last one I made was a Sword Art Online one for me and my girlfriends anniversary.

As for your AMV, it’s pretty good for a first attempt and I really enjoyed it. You nailed some of the transitions really well.

A pro-tip I’d give would be to really listen to the music you’re using and try to have the effects and visuals fit to the timing of the music as well as possible, while also having the scenes fitting the lyrics (if there are any). I tend to run simulations of what exactly I’d want it all to look like in my head while listening to the song before I even think about opening the editor.

It’s fairly obvious, but it’s the most important thing to keep in mind when making AMV’s.

What editing software are you using? If you really want to get into AMV’s, I suggest getting (and learning) Sony Vegas. It’s really powerful and easy to use and you can get a lot of great looking effects with it.
